Referring a talent takes less than five minutes
The process is deliberately simple. No endless form, no platform to learn. Everything runs through our Jobcenter and a unique referral link you share with the person.
Spot a Kernel opening
Browse the open roles on the Kernel Jobcenter. You will find openings across the 54 countries of Africa, across every function: tech, finance, marketing, support, sales, HR, operations.
Share the referral link
On each job page, you get a personal referral link. Send it to the candidate you want to refer through WhatsApp, e-mail, LinkedIn, whichever channel works.
The candidate applies via your link
The candidate follows your link and applies directly. Our ATS automatically records your referral. Nothing else is needed from you at this stage.
You get paid
If the candidate is selected by the client, signs the contract and stays in role at least three months, you receive your bonus directly in your local currency. Paid by bank transfer, mobile money or Wise depending on your country.
A bonus per validated hire, paid in your local currency
We want the bonus to be transparent, fair and easy to receive, whatever your country. Below is the indicative grid, expressed directly in African local currencies. The exact amount is confirmed at payout time based on the prevailing rate.

Amounts are expressed in African local currencies. They are refreshed at payout time based on the prevailing rate. Payouts are made by bank transfer, mobile money (M-Pesa, Orange Money, MTN MoMo, Wave) or Wise depending on your country. No fees are deducted from the bonus.
